Often it isn’t where it hurts
The upper neck and the muscles at the base of the skull refer pain into the head and behind the eyes. When the neck and mid-back stiffen — often from desk posture or a clenched jaw — those structures get overloaded and headaches follow. We assess the neck, jaw, mid-back and how you move to find the source.
How we treat it
Treatment releases the overloaded neck and jaw muscles, restores movement to the neck and mid-back, and addresses the postural and habit drivers, so the headaches become less frequent and less intense.
